Junior Great Books

Junior Great Books® programs combine high-quality literature, student-centered discussion, and activities that support reading comprehension, critical thinking, speaking and listening, and writing.

  • We’ll start by using Series K. While these materials are selected for younger elementary students, I’ve previewed all of the stories in the books, and this series can provide excellent discussion opportunities for older students as well.
  • All students will need their own copies of the Series K books.
  • Saturday for students in K-2nd grade
    • Caregivers must be willing to read the stories with their student weekly to prepare them for the class.
  • Tuesdays for students in 3rd through 5th grade
  • $10/class
