Students (and their siblings/caregivers!!!) of Ellen Jepson’s Piano Studio are invited to bring picnic blankets and snacks to share as we picnic, party, and play our preferred piano pieces for each other. Let’s help our community at the same time.
Presentations are for 1:00, 2:30, and 4:30.
All performers must register using this form: https://forms.gle/4uWaGyu9yQEyYLMB7
Eligible persons to play include piano/organ/class students who may each play two short, or one long piece. Students who play another instrument may play one piece on that instrument.
Siblings/caregivers who play piano or another instrument may play one piece on their instrument.
Students in 5th grade and older (including adult students!) may serve as Studio Ambassadors.
Please bring a nonperishable food item that the Studio will donate to the 125 Live Food Pantry. https://125livemn.org/food-pantry/
The playathon will benefit the MusicLink Foundation (https://musiclinkfoundation.org/). Donations are optional. The Studio will make a donation to the Foundation on behalf of every student who plays a piece in the Playathon!
How can you participate in the donation process?
Ask for donations!
- Ask for donations!
- Donations can be on behalf of one student

- On behalf of every person who plays
- Examples:
- Donate $2, $5, $7 for your student who plays in the playathon
- Donate a flat amount, e.g. $10, $20 for the playathon generally.
- Pledge to donate $.10, $.25, $1, $2 etc for each student or per piece played

- If 3 people donate $5, 2 people donate $10, 10 donate $3.50, and 1 donates $70, our playathon generates $140 for the MusicLink Foundation.
- Kids help kids get access to music education.
- Funds are used to support the growth of state and local programs, provide camp scholarships and assist students as needed with music, instruments, and event fees.
- Donate here: Network for Good (minimum $1) (https://www.networkforgood.org/donation/MakeDonation.aspx…)
- Under dedication, please note “Piano Picnic Playathon Party” and the student’s name.
Collecting donations is not a requirement for participation but is a great way to bring awareness to the program.
